Claudia Fornito Magic Kisses the Mind
I am Claudia Fornito, an expert in authenticity and transformation.
I support women in understanding their body as a compass, trusting their perception and freeing themselves from conditioning and limitations.
You are allowed to be everything. As long as you are real. Free from either-or, embodying both-and.
My Moment of Birth & My Original Freedom
When I was born, I knew: now I am free. Out of the prison of the womb, into a world full of magic, colours and possibilities. I wanted to discover, to feel, to try things out. Full of courage and boundless joy.
My Childhood Untamed & Real
I was a wild, free girl. I climbed trees, said what I felt, sensed my strength, my fire. I was sweet & petite and yet I was perceived as «too much» and as masculine. Too loud. Too direct. Too untamed. I felt feminine, completely natural, powerfully soft and strong at the same time. But what I felt as femininity had little to do with what others understood by it.
Nature was my refuge, my imagination a world full of possibilities. Even back then, my curiosity and my urge to explore were greater than my fear. I wanted to discover, try out and experience everything for myself.
My urge to explore is still untamed. Where others see an insurmountable obstacle, everything in me starts looking for possibilities.
For me, creativity means finding ways and solutions with what is.
The Struggle for Recognition
I began to hold myself back. To make myself quieter, gentler in the sense of «more conforming», more controlled, more socially acceptable. Yet deep inside me this untamed soul remained unwavering, radiant, alive.
I dreamed of a world in which freedom, love, community and adventure come together. And I began to create exactly such a life for myself.
At 19 I married my teacher. At 21 I was divorced. My ex-husband is still one of my best friends. At 25 I married my school friend, with whom I still share my life today. I founded my own business and a large family with five wonderful children. Our life was shaped by freedom, community, creativity and adventure. Even though the outer circumstances were often challenging.
We travelled to foreign countries with all our children, despite many financial hurdles. While others built on security, we showed our children again and again how big and adventurous life is. Again and again I proved to myself and to life: I achieve what I dream of, even when it seems impossible. Magic exists!
Again and again I heard the world around me say: «You can't have it all. Make a choice. Be more modest.» These words nested in my head, no matter how often I proved that it works my way. And so, despite all my successes, a quiet, nagging guilty conscience remained in me.
Should I really dream smaller, expect less? Was my striving for «everything», for freedom and fulfilment, a mistake?
Over the years, my joy in taking unconventional paths and making the seemingly impossible possible turned into a constant need to prove myself. Enormous pressure weighed on my shoulders. I wasn't allowed to simply be and do. I had to prove that my often unconventional path was valuable.
This inner conflict showed itself in great waves of success and exhaustion. Again and again I reached new heights, then fell deep, only to get up again and keep going.
The more I fought for recognition of my values, my thoughts and my way of living, the quieter my intuition became, and with it my connection to magic. Reason and control took the lead.
I was tired of constantly proving myself, tired of the fight.
The Transformation
I turned towards myself. I stopped merely functioning and aligning my life with the outside world. I brought my focus back to myself. I trained as a dance and expressive arts therapist. I explored shamanism, numerology, astrology and art therapy. Later came trainings as an NLP trainer and hypnotherapist. I became a trainer, therapist and process facilitator. Most importantly, I became more and more my original SELF.
I didn't want to grasp life only with my mind. I wanted to embody it.
Although it was often painful, I faced my shadows, my triggers, my fears. I wanted to experience, not live in my head collecting tools and knowledge, but feel, embody, remember. My experiences left traces in my body. From this grew a deep inner knowing that goes far beyond books and external concepts.
Between Love, Devotion and Freedom
«You're good enough to help.»
This deeply rooted belief accompanied me for decades. I believed I had to prove my right to exist through helping, serving and performing.
At 40 I fell in love. That frightened me and set a lot in motion. Suddenly I was facing questions about love, fidelity, family and freedom. Yet even as a child I had wished to be allowed to be free in relationships.
Leaving my family and my husband was out of the question. To me, my husband was the only person who accepted me with all my rough edges. I would never leave him.
At the same time, the fear of being left myself ran deep in me. As a child I had already learned that love and belonging depend on whether I meet expectations. Even those that were never spoken.
On our 25th wedding anniversary I wrote to my husband that I would love and honour him for a lifetime. As the father of our children, as my best friend and companion. But I could not promise him to remain his lover forever.
Over many years we questioned our ideas of relationship together. I recognised more and more clearly how often I crossed my own boundaries in order to meet expectations.
The Liberation
At 60 I finally dared to take my first psychedelic journey. With a great deal of respect and out of a deep longing to connect with the highest within me. I felt there was still more in me that I could not experience with the tools I had used so far.
Further psychedelic journeys followed, and they are still part of my life today. For me, these experiences are the crowning of my path. I experienced how deeply rooted traumas could release from my body, how I said goodbye to old lives and remembered: I have the strength, I am the courage, I am the wisdom. I am indestructible in my essence.
One of my deepest insights was that devotion has nothing to do with giving yourself up. I had longed for devotion for decades, but it was tied to my fear of becoming a will-less victim. I experienced that true devotion is the deep connection with my truth and my being. Free from the idea of giving myself up so that others can do with me whatever they want.
Devotion is pure self-empowerment.
Today I am 60+ and I live my essence.
I am air and fire.
I love water. It calms, it moves, and it can be clear and wild, just like me.
I am loud when I want to be. Quiet when I feel it. I am gentle, tender, powerful and clear.
I am fully in my magic, in my devotion, and full of gratitude the light shines through me into the world.
Boundlessly Free and Full of Love
I also live freedom in my relationship. My husband and I have been married for almost 40 years and have known each other for 50. Our love was never a rigid construct. It is a growing being. A space for development. For truth. For freedom. We have reinvented our connection again and again, adapted it to our growth, and that is exactly how it will continue.
At 63 it finally became clear to me that I no longer want to play the role of the wife. I no longer want roles with spoken or unspoken expectations. I want to be free. And my husband may be just as free.
We live together, enjoy our family, are loving friends to each other and see what lives and emerges between us when we are both free.
For me, being free in a relationship is love lived. I wish this depth and expanse for every human being.
I also live freedom within my family. I love my children and grandchildren, and in recent years I have learned that now it is my time too. That I may take space for the things that matter to me.
I want to travel, write, meet new people, build new networks. Live my curiosity, keep discovering, trying, testing and exploring. Invest my strength and my joy of life more in what inspires me.
Last year I started writing my autobiographical book, which is due to be published in 2027:
I stayed and still left
An autobiographical journey through motherhood, power and magic
Edgy. Sensual. Uncomfortable. Deep.
Because what I already knew at my birth, I embody today more than ever.
I am everything. Magic and clarity. Wildness and gentleness. Devotion and strength. Air and fire. I don't have to choose.
Already at 40 I wrote the words in one of my poems that today, more than ever, embody my life:
Everything is possible. I am who I am. Boundlessly free and full of love. A sparkling star.
